2nd Grade Grand Ball
This past Friday our 2nd grade students participated in their annual grand ball!
Second graders devoted three weeks to Fairy Tales. They read fiction and non-fiction books about the Renaissance and medieval time period. Students learned about the elements common to most fairy tales: magic, heroes, villains, problems, setting, plot and of course royalty. The students used what they have learned to create an original poem about a fairy tale character and then presented their poem at the Grand Ball.
