1st Grade Mothers’ Poetry Tea

Our 1st graders celebrated poetry and their mothers today with an afternoon tea. Students have been writing poetry in class and compiled their poems into a book for mom. Students also recited or read their favorite poem and served tea to their mothers.

It was a great celebration of motherhood and poetry, while also giving our students the opportunity to serve and speak publicly!
