91èÏÈÉú Siblings

From the desk of Katie Ramirez, Director of Admissions:

The enrollment season is upon us and I love to meet our new families. Each family has a story and each student has a unique smile and personality that makes an Admissions Director’s job the best in town.

I remember when the McLarry family was considering enrolling Heather into 91èÏÈÉú for her first year. She is a strong student and her servant’s heart is a true gift to us all. When I met her brother, I thought “he needed to be at 91èÏÈÉú”. But God had the perfect timing for him to attend 91èÏÈÉú and this was his year.

Both Heather and Rush are now at 91èÏÈÉú this school year and it is so sweet to watch them on campus. I recently spoke to their mother, Dawn, and she mentioned “how close they have become since attending 91èÏÈÉú together”. I love that. It is a special moment to see a sibling relationship grow stronger in a smaller community and how they are investing in each other and those around them. Heather and Rush support each other and cheer one another on in their academics and athletics. Each of them contributes to our school culture and spirit and I am grateful.

The McLarry family is one of many, many examples of siblings I love to see on campus. I invite you to share your sibling story. Join us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or even comment on this blog and post a picture of your beautiful siblings or soon to be siblings at 91èÏÈÉú with the hashtag #BHfamily.

We are a family at 91èÏÈÉú and we should celebrate the families in our community.

If you have a “soon to be” 91èÏÈÉú sibling to enroll, please do not hesitate to email ([email protected]) or call me (903) 894-5000 and I will be delighted to help you in the process.

I cannot wait to see social media flood with our #BHfamily pride. This includes all alumni as well!
